Hi, thanks for you time. Can introduce yourself for our readers?
Hello, we are the emotional modern rock band, ode, active in Korea.
Dignified, passionate and sometimes mediative, poetry-like subtle and deeply ingrained ode.
He debuted with the 2019 EP Album "To Youth" and has won three EP album, two singles, and various contests so far in 2022.
It consists of a vocal Si-in, guitar Seung hyun, drum Young jun, and bassist Je Kyung, ande features mournful vocals and dreamy sound unique to the band.
It's been three years since your debut, how would you describe these three years? Is it similar to what you expected during trainee days?
The Korean indie band market has no concept of being a trainee. I felt a lot of things as I gained experience from the beginning Looking back, I think the past three years are a process of making the color of the ode even darker.
We want to get to know you better, can you tell us about any talent that we don't know about? And how would you describe ode in one sentence?
We've been thinking about this question for a long time.. I couldn't find it………. Please keep an eye on us and find us... It has a mysterious and dreamy charm.
The Korean music industry is especially known for K-POP. Have you ever been afraid that as an indie instrument band you might face more difficulties?
There are so many bands in the Korean indie market. I think the question of whether we can succeed among them is the driving force behind the darkening of the color of the ode.
You have a long list of albums in your career. What would be your favorite song or album among all your releases, if there is one?
Si-in: 2st EP Album ‘blues’
Seung Hyun:1st EP Album ‘to youth’
Young Jun: 3rd EP Album ‘colors’
JK: Single Album ‘Escape’
If you could collaborate with another artist, who would you want it to be?
Si-in: Radiohead
Seung Hyun: Olivia Rodrigo
Young Jun: Lady Gaga
JK: BTS
