As K-Pop industry enthusiasts, we have the privilege to set the red carpet to our special guest, influencer and model Som Hevin. Actress Som Hevin has agreed to an exclusive interview with Korean Stuff. We proudly have the chance to have a small chat with her and uncover some details of her current life.
Som Hevin (송혜인 / Song Hyein @somgodld) was widely known in South Korea for taking part of the survival show Idol School, a show which the winner contestants joined to create fromis_9. Due to health problems, she had to withdraw from the show. At a later date, the artist embarked upon her solo actress career endeavor. She's also one of the few Korean influencers or ex-idol that had publicly came out as bisexual and being part of the LGBTIQ+ community.
Without further ado, Som Hevin's first international interview.
First of all, may you please introduce yourself to our audience.
Hola! :) First of all, thank you for giving me a good interview. I'm Som Hevin, a model and actress in Korea!
How do you see yourself now? What can you say about the 'Som Hein' of 2022?
I don't know about Somhein, but I think Somhevin is just Somhevin.
I don't want to be described as a person because I'm not great, cool or perfect. To some people, I may not be good, and to other ones, I may seem lovely.
In 2022, I just try to move forward on my own without any regret!
In 2022, I want to be a person who doesn't have to ask how I am whenever I meet people :))

You are a model, singer, and actress. Are you into any projects these days? We loved "Mini Radio" and "Same Here", are you working in a new song?
I don't make music anymore.
I had also health problems, and now I want to focus on my acting career and become an all-rounder actress!
You are a role model for many people. The LGBTIQ+ communities are so proud of you to express yourself without any restraints. Did this change something in your life since your public announcement?
There are good and bad changes, because everything has two sides.
I'm the very simple type. I have a personality that I can't live by accepting all of others' reactions.
I don't give them any reasons in the first place, I can't even get along with sensitive people LOL
I think it's simple to feel at ease living in this world, because thinking deeply may be toxic.
You're amazing to go against all odds in South Korea. Do you have a message to encourage all?
Be generous to others and be strict with yourself, but think simply and lightly.
Don't be swayed by other people's words and focus on yourself.
You're a big enough person.
